America’s Boating Club of Central Ohio (aka United States Power Squadron) will be conducting free vessel safety checks for area boaters during several scheduled events in May.

America’s Boating Club of Central Ohio will offer a series of boating education classes and seminars for the boating community throughout May and early June. The courses are designed to help recreational boaters improve their knowledge of safe boating practices, navigation, equipment use and weather awareness. Classes include both in-person and virtual seminars covering a range of boating topics.

America’s Boating Club of Central Ohio has elected Jason Mack as squadron commander for 2026. The Change of Watch installation took place Jan. 24, 2026, during a ceremony held at The Boat House in Columbus.
