America’s Boating Club of Central Ohio Announces Spring Boating Education Classes

DELAWARE, Ohio — America’s Boating Club of Central Ohio will offer a series of boating education classes and seminars for the boating community throughout May and early June.
The courses are designed to help recreational boaters improve their knowledge of safe boating practices, navigation, equipment use and weather awareness. Classes include both in-person and virtual seminars covering a range of boating topics.

Scheduled classes include:
May 4, 11 and 18: Boat Handling
June 1 and 8: Continued Boat Handling
Seminars scheduled during May include:
May 6: How to Use a GPS — Virtual Seminar
May 12: Trailering and Tune Up — In-Person Seminar
May 13: Introduction to Marine Navigation — Virtual Seminar
May 14: AIS Electronics for Boaters — Virtual Seminar
May 20: Weather for Boaters — In-Person Seminar
May 21: Boating on Lakes, Locks and Rivers — Virtual Seminar
May 27: Paddle Smart — Virtual Seminar
America’s Boating Club of Central Ohio (aka United States Power Squadron) founded in 1914 is the nation's largest and oldest safe boating organization dedicated to recreational boating safety and education.
The classes are open to the public and are intended for both new and experienced boaters seeking to expand their boating knowledge and safety skills.
