D29 Conference Dinner on October 29th Dinner at Mimi's Café Polaris

Dinner is a three-course meal for $35.00 which includes soup

or salad, one of five dinner selections and dessert. 5 pm-6 pm Social Hour, 6 pm Dinner.

Cash bar during social hour and dinner. After dinner those who wish may return to the

hotel for D/29 Hospitality Suites with beverages, socializing and cards.

EAT! DRINK! and BE SCARYwith D/29

Your Conference Committee has been hard at work planning the October 28, 29 and 30

District 29 Fall Conference. Friday night is Hospitality at America's Boating Club of Central

Ohio located at 8492 Cotter Street, Lewis Center, OH. We will be serving Beverages,

Appetizers and Snacks in keeping with our theme: Eat, Drink and Be Scary. Doors open at

5 pm; fun and food at 5:30 pm.

The hotel for attendees will be Hampton Inn & Suites, 8411 Pulsar Place, Columbus. OH.

This is located at I71 and Polaris Parkway. The rooms are $135.00 plus taxes. This price

also includes Breakfast. They have a beautiful pool with a hot tub.

Saturday morning, after breakfast, conference goers will travel to Alum Creek Visitor

Center, Army Corp of Engineers, 5905 Lewis Center Road, Lewis Center, OH. We will hold

our classes here along with the District 29 afternoon meeting. Lunch will be available for

$10.00 and includes Subs, beverages plus chips. and dessert.

The park is a beautiful area with walking trails and much wildlife. The reservoir has

3,387 acres of water with depths to 60 feet near the dam area. Fish include Muskie, large

and small mouth bass, saugeyes, and panfish.

Returning to the hotel after the meeting, dinner will be at Mimi's Cafe, 1428 Polaris
